Off Topic: Sound City kicked ass! Â It was cool to go through the history of a recording studio. Â Undertow was recorded there.

It was an excellent movie. Â We may be getting Tool's view on their activities at the studio soon (such as why it's not mentioned in the Undertow liner notes at all).

So what you're saying is, I'm definitely forking over for that new Opiate release? Got it.

nice to see Dave Grohl where he belongs... behind a drum set
That footage is from Sound City FYI, and not from the new NIN album.
But yes it is good to see Dave there...
Oh okay, i was wondering what it was for... i wasn't thinking NIN, maybe HTDA

Sorry to have to ask, but what is the correlation between it not being listed in the liner notes and buying the new printing?Â

Glad they're touring again, I never got a chance to a single set.
Trent Reznors wife is HOT... and her voice is nice too!
That is all....

I'd give her the best two seconds of my life. A lot of people don't like her voice but I dig it. "Ice Age" is a good example.
By the way, you guys know there's a How to Destroy Angels thread, right?

I could do without the tattoos, but I'm pretty sure she'd have a vagina you would weep with ecstasy over on first viewing.

confirmed NIN dates so far:
07/26 Naeba, JAP – Fuji Rock Festival
07/28 Ansan, SKR – Ansan Valley Festival
08/18 Hockenheim, GER – Rock’n'Heim Festival
08/24 West Yorkshire, UK – Leeds Festival
08/26 Reading, UK – Reading Festival
though unlikely, there's a gap there just long enough for a few aussie dates
Hopefully it's OK to post this here... Looking for two tickets to Lollapalooza Friday August 2nd for NIN, face value or slightly higher I'm OK with, not paying scalper fees.
Complete BS. Was logged into Lolla's web site the second single day passes went on sale, their site crashed for about 6 minutes, I eventually got "in line" and by the time I was able to attempt to buy tickets- 35 minutes later- it was sold out.

So I've somehow never managed to get into this band, despite not disliking anything I've ever heard.. All I can say off top of my head that I know from them are "Burn" & "Closer".. Little help in where to head for a starting point please?

I'd recommend either The Downward Spiral or The Fragile. They're easily Trent's two biggest masterpieces, and they're fairly accessible. I started off with the And all That Could've Been live album, so there's always that.
