man i feel bad for that little girl. Maynard didnt loosen up much even for a kid interview. Tough break.

It was also pretty damn awkward throughout. Some weird sexual tension vibes between Carina and "James" too. Odd interview.

He seems way less pained in this interview than in some of the other interviews in the past.

Would've been hilarious if she grilled him about the new Tool album

Paul Stanley Spice really cracked me up.

Was waiting for "Spice Spice Baby"...

Wonder if whoever set up this interview was aware there were making this kid say 'Puscfer'. At least she didn't bring up the titles 'V is for Vagina', 'Donkey Punch The Night', or 'Money Shot'.

It's a great recording - worth the listen if you're a fan.

The 'depending on your location' bit sure sounds like a small tour

Maynard did say that a remix album is in the works for the fall... but that doesn't make sense with the 'location' statement. Maybe another 2-3 week tour in December.

I figured they would do a remix album at some point, but I must have missed that mention. Where did he mention it being released this fall

I thought it was weird that Tool is doing a week, then puscifer for a week then the book tour starts. If I had to guess It's a tour to fill in the gaps in the book tour.

Finally, Puscifer have been very prolific; do you anticipate another record or EP sooner rather than later?

“We’re still within that year of release – we released in November so we’re still focused on this album, but I think Mat is already compiling all the remixes from various artists. We’re going to shoot for a remix release either fall or spring.”

I haven't read that interview before - it's a pretty good one! Very insightful, especially in regards to his voice and how he sings these days.
