I gave it a crack the other day. I don't think it's quite as terrible as some make it out to be, it's pretty mediocre though. It needed another 6 months of work on it I suspect - I guess time will tell if they continue to refine it, or whether it's a dead duck. I think the potential is there, but not sure that many are interested.

Been playing Zelda for a couple of days now thanks to the powers of emulation. If you enjoyed BOTW then you'll love it. If you didn't then nothing's changed. It feels very much like a BOTW 1.5 so it's hard to give it a super high score at all.
The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Sold Over 10 Million Copies In First 3 Days
It is the fastest-selling game in the history of the franchise.
Nintendo has revealed that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sold over 10 million copies worldwide during its first three days of release.
This makes the game the fastest-selling entry in the history of the franchise.
Over in the Americas, over 4 million copies of the game were sold and it's also now the fastest-selling Switch game and fastest-selling Nintendo game for any system in that territory.
Additionally, around 2.24 million copies of the game were sold in Japan.
The milestone is quite astonishing as it took Sony Santa Monica's God of War Ragnarok three months to sell 11 million copies.
From Software's Elden Ring sold 12 million copies in less than three weeks.
Tears of the Kingdom is also Nintendo's first game to cost $70, and it certainly seems like the price increase didn't discourage many people from buying it.
