I reckon these guys deserve their own thread.
Good news: They have a new single Drawn Together out on the 8th of February
Bad news: Their promoter just canned the festival they were due to play at in Port Macquarie

Good band, stupid mustache.
Also I didn't read the review due to spoilers.

Extremely stupid moustache. And figured as such for yourself and Hellboy. I think you guys are jerks for other reasons though.

Sounds like a mix of Cog and The Occupants, pretty sweet

I don't mind it, but I don't think it's really going to make it onto my list of favorite Cog songs.
Speaking of The Occupants, I revisited their EP the other day, and I found it pretty underwhelming. It's safe to say I prefer a heavier version of Cog, so I hope the new album resembles that style more than the poppier single (and The Occupants)

I never got into Occupants myself but dig the living shit out of this new tune. Intro reminds me of Anarchy Ok , verse is groovy as all fuck and could almost be pulled straight from Sharing Space, yet it still sounds like fresh like they're doing something new. 2 from 2 for the new tunes for me.

Saw Cog again Friday night. Can once again confirm they were amazing. Solid setlist they're playing at the moment and clearly having a killer time being back onstage.

Just saw a post on bookface from cog saying first headline show there in nearly 10 years. Tyson get the fuck on it or I'll be forced to get Nelson to have pull down your pants and have the girls call you fatty fat fat fat

Yeah, I saw that - I'm going to have take my chances though, as I can't commit until a bit closer to the date

I have my tickets, although we often get the option to decide on the night here in Radelaide.

Saw that - got rellies over from Scotland in that two week period, which is why everything is up in the air a bit for now. Hopefully it'll all pan out, but don't want to commit money to shows I may not make!

Show is now sold out, so that solves that problem :'(

You know if you were keen enough there's bound to be someone selling outside. Does this mean if I came by a ticket you don't want it?
Careful how you respond, Busty is watching for the true measure of your affection for Cog.

I'm still no closer to being able to commit to the show, but a week before it I should know, and would take a ticket of anyones hands.
That said, I probably won't cry myself to sleep if I miss it
