I’m keeping my expectations at an acceptable level. There is no way the album can match this ridiculous hype it’s gathered. Tool brought this crazy hype upon themselves taking this long. Curious to know if a the single will be released with a video as well

I really can't make up my mind if I should listen to it or wait for the full album

I’m not going to listen immediately. First of all I’m going to look out for other people to confirm if it is actually a brand new track called Fear Inoculum, or if it is just Descending with a different title and in its full form (i.e. perhaps with Maynard vocals to the end). I still think this could be a possibility.

If it is a brand new track, I will try and wait until the full album release (especially if CCTrip is a new song, in which case 4/7 already heard prior to listening...)

for your own safety, keep your expectations low. overhyping something always ends in disappointment. it was the case with diablo 3, the new star wars movie and the game of thrones finale.

Didn't play Diablo 3,didn't watch GoT but found the Last Jedi to be a fresh breath with some cool stuff and with some scenes that should be burned forever.
Rise of the Skywalker will be awesome. Endgame will diminish (in terms of quality, not profit).

Before Lateralus there was hype, before 10,000 Days there was hype, before Fear Inoculum is hype. Some will like it, some will not.

After hearing Invincible & Descending live I am really stoked. Excellent pieces of music. CCtrip as well.

So, I will listen to the track today. Hopefully a new song.

Different hype this time around. Social media was just getting started. I remember the radio station hyping everyone up in Dallas by only playing the first 20 seconds of vicarious.

This album cover looks vaguely similar to the new cover, although Tool took a more unique approach which is growing on me; the more I look at it, the more I like it.. I do think it's good!!

I set an alarm, it’ll be 3pm here so i’ll be driving with my Dad in the passenger seat. I run the family business with him and we have a 1 hour drive to a project site, he has heard Tool before and he loves Lateralus and Reflection, this is exciting. Three and a half hours left.

No one was spoiled or impatent. Tool promised prorder information and didn't deliver (obviously digital doesn't cout). They hyped up a physical release willingly. Why do people treat their shitty marketng with so much defference?

Good thing PoS & Amazon leaked the details. Now we know the only physical version is this package.
