That’s asking a lot of a typical Tool fan, tbf.

I’m actually shocked at the complete lack of posts relating the setlist changes to some Fibonacci sequence/dark ritual/alien artifact. We are showing a lot of restraint so far.

For example, if you take the number of letters in the song names of the entire new setlist, subtract the….nah.

Pretty sure this was just a once off for a cancelled show, time to resume normal programming.

Also when are they going to give Fear Inoculumn a miss?

It's been played every show since the album came out, geez.

Tonight’s setlist is pretty important. I think they know they can’t do one great show, and let down everyone else…right?

Letting people down is kinda their specially tbh.

I wont be surprised to see business return to semi usual, with songs like Descending, the patient , the pot etc do their usual rotation.

Saying that, Would welcome them pulling out Eulogy, H & Flood tonight though, in which case I'm boarding a flight to USA.

Why is it so light in there? Looks like a terrible place for a gig.

Looks like another great set. Only question is the encore now. Keep it the same or tempest?

Considering they let people record the last song, I can't see it ever being 7empest, maybe back to Stinkfist, otherwise it will be Invincible all tour. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Yeah - same Deep Cuts setlist. Really interesting approach for this tour. I'm sure we'll see some variation once they blow the dust off and are keen to mix it up a little more. I think 7empest is more down to Adam being up for it, because he owns 75% of it. A good test for the new Sig Flying V 🤘🏽

You might expect Descending and 7empest alternating like they did before. And just before the break that seems fitting.

Question to those who have been to shows on this tour, or just been to a lot of shows in general...

I have been to 2 Tool shows, 2014 and 2019. In '14 i was able to snag an unsigned poster but missed out in '19 (they were sold out by the time i got to the front of the line).

For a "Doors at 6:00" show, when would you recommend i get into the merch line in order to get a poster? I dont want to miss out, but also dont know if i need to be in line at 6? Thanks!

Forget the Fibonacci sequence for the moment

Got the good headphones & DAC out, listened to Right in Two for first time in awhile. Damn the production on that one.

Line up as early as you like mate. However, TOOLARMY members get first crack at the merchandise stand at 5:15pm so if they purchase all of the signed posters I guess it doesn't really matter.

You never know though; I've been to TOOL shows where their VIP packages were available and they still had signed posters for sale AFTER the show ended at like 11pm.

If you've got the time / opportunity to line up early then just go for it! Just don't be disappointed if all the Toolarmy folks have snapped up all the signed posters by the time you get in at 6pm. 🤷‍♂️
