i am ser jealous of yall going to see Tool starting in a few days. I want to know setlists and will be keeping track. I will NOT spoil anyone elses preference not to though.

I'm sure someone will attempt to record some of the shows.  I've already hinted at how someone may be able to record the Adelaide one.

Security was ultra strict at the last Tool shows here.  You couldn't even get your phone out without security in your face.

the GA should help with security being less unpleasant for those on the floor

Someone just posted this on Adam's latest instagram pic:

"Looking forward to Jakob/Tool back in Auckland"

There's nothing on their website mentioning this but it does say they're playing their first show in a year on the 26th.

Take it with a grain of salt, I guess.

Jakob have been rumoured for some time now, but no official confirmation.

 

Would love it to be true, though. They're a great band.

Wouldn't surprise me if it were true for at least the NZ show.  Personally I'd be quite happy with them doing the whole tour, but at least for now it seems unlikely for the Oz shows.

Jakob is awesome... fit quite well as an opener for tool... not anticipating them at the Oz gigs, but it would be a well received announcement, byme at least

without giving away too much detail or any spoilers (saving myself for Auckland shows) anyone who went to either of the Melbourne show care to comment on the shows or theie experience??

A mate flew across from NZ for the first night and ended up going to the second night too, so i know they had a great time, but i'd like to know what the fourtheye members have to say....
