That El Paso show is going to be insane. Scariest show I have ever been to was a Battle of Los Angeles show in Sacramento with Black Starr and Gang Star. The crowd got out of control before RAGE came on and they delayed their start time by an hour. People were rushing the floor from the upper decks and there were 5 or 6 fights while everyone was waiting. That’s what happens when you get a bunch of Central Valley rednecks and Militant Latinos in the same room. I had floor tickets and when the band started testify before the lights went down the floor erupted and we fled to the seats. Wild fucking show. I hope they play Tom Joad. I have been reading The Grapes of Wrath and that shit is timely. The border shows are going to blow up.

Sounds like Rage could be coming back to Aus much to Lizs bitter disappointment

I'm pretty skeptical RATM are headlining Splendour in the Grass.

You can't dangle Rammstein in front of my face and then offer me Rage.

And yeah I don't see them as a Splendour headliner.

I'm guessing they have capacity to fit the crowd in seeing as they've held kanye, gambino etc. Don't see why they wouldn't have ratm. would be a pretty massive coupe for the festival I would have thought. Rage were always a band that everyone could get behind so they transcend genres.

Could be bullshit but won't be surprised at all if it eventuates.

Was watching rage in Mexico DVD just yesterday and thought to myself how sad it is that the crowd will all be to busy filming instead of bouncing these days.

Have never seen a band with a better ability to get an entire floor moving like Rage could. Will be interesting to see what the crowd looks like in the current state of live shows.

I'm thinking Rage would draw a somewhat large Supercars type crowd which would scare the shit out of the little avocado munching darlings.

Such a tattle tale Busty! You behave just like your father. ;)

I think I said I'd prefer they were an instrumental. :)

No doubt it would be a good mover of tickets for the festival promoter. Just not sure that they fit the profile of headline acts in the last 5 years.

I'll be quite happy to go see them if/when the tour Oz. At this point though, I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah it'll probably end up being bullshit but fingers crossed. If I can somehow get Tool, Rage , FNM & Metallica live shows all in the same calender year It would be most Jizztacular

It's very very rare to find people of Liz's vintage able to stomach the hip hops, ingrained racism from the white australia policy?

I don't know.

Souix Falls or KC for me. Not sure though since Deftones also announce a NA Tour. I will see one or the other. Leaning more towards Deftones since I feel like the tickets will be more cheap and not selling out instantly .

its a good chance to see Rage considering most prob wont get to see them again. totally agree though, Zach comes around every 8 to 10 years to fill his bank account up it seems. plus all the rage towards politics and all that crap wasnt overly appealing to me after awhile. i wasnt overly surprised when they split up although that had nothing to do with it apparently. they were a great live band though so its kinda neat and a rare occasion.

they are coming here but i dont know if i'll go. not rushing for it but will see.
