It took My Bloody Valentine 22 years to complete the follow up to 1991's Loveless - only for fans to discover that in 22 years the band had managed to come up with only 40 minutes of new music that......sounded like the last one.

So I'd hardly call Tool "the laziest band on the planet".

But yes, 4 years writing an album is a tad on the ridiculous side. And prepare for it to become even more ridiculous still as I have a hunch they ain't getting near a studio in....oh,say the next six months or so - making a 2014 release date extremely tentative.

MOG is pretty close to the laziest troll on the planet though. In the name of all things holy please come up with some original material!

This is why this forum is stagnating, instead of flourishing. The same debate that has already been discussed to death, month in, year out and one member refusing to let it go and on and on and on.

Seriously, there are better things to discuss, not just about Tool and their related projects, not just about music as a whole as well, but the world at large. The reason this forum isn't growing isn't because 'we' scare new members off, the fact is toolnavy's forum (which I helped name, fuck you Dan) is a lot more interesting. Why I'm not there instead, well that's kind of a long story. Also Mog has said he was a member there but obviously he couldn't handle the heat and left, it's easier to defend yourself against a few than many. He was probably run off that board for his idiotic opinions (or as I feel, his obvious trolling)

So now we're stuck in purgatory aka Fourtheye.
