This is pretty much boobs but not literally boobs.

Will Tool hit the studio by the end of 2014? For fuck sake, we are going on 9 years. I want to click on the fourtheye main page at some point this fall and see an actual solid update about this album. Not too much to ask after 8 years, with half of that time being in the range of "writing sessions".

There's still plenty of time for them to do this, its only September after all. As I've said before, it seems all quiet on other fronts (Puscifer, APC and what not) so that to me is a sign that there are some plans in place.

But I wouldn't be putting any money on this either...

He is over in the US. I haven't spoken to him in around four months as he works in PR in LA now. In the past I have found him to be reliable on any number of info regarding upcoming releases etc. I have no reason to doubt him when it comes to Tool.

I'm guessing that the tone of the above comment is one that is laced with condescending sarcasm and a generous helping of nudge, nudge - wink, wink. If that is the case then fuck off. If not....as you were.

I am sticking with my belief that they are further along than they are letting on, that being said I am super hopeful that things are moving along.... and that by this time next year we will be listening to new songs and hoping for something else (DVD etc).... (possibly wishful thinking)....
