I doubt they will remove the requirement for registration. Â That said it's not like you need to hand over your birth certificate to register and account there.

Looks like Synchtube shat itself again. Â One day I expect it just won't come back. Â Developers don't really seem to want to put any work into it, and I expect these continual DDoS attacks that keep bringing it down will eventually become more trouble than it's worth for the devs.

Sad, as it's an excellent site that could do with some love and attention.

It always stuns me how much of a luddite I am when it comes to the interweb super highway. I didn't even know what "synchtube" was until FE. You mean to say that you can all watch Youtube videos while chatting?! That's fucking awesome.

Good news I read this morning is that Synchtube is planning to go open source. Â Presuming that happens and the spec work out I'll plan to host our very own Synchtube server here on Fourtheye...
