That's an insanely good performance. Notably the very extended end to Parabola (which I've raved about on here before).

Anyone got anything nice to say about Tool now that it's 2019? We got the grudge thread, thought I'd even it out now that we have actual shit happening this year.

I'll start. Maynard's voice has gotten better and I'm curious to see if the two new songs are any indication on overall direction in the album.
Not sure if it's just because he's been able to rest it, or if he's finally learned how to control it better.

They give me a reason to go to new places.. I'm sure I can come up with something better but I'm drinking!

Invincible is absolutely fucking incredible.
MayJay does sound pretty bloody fantastic for someone that's been in the game for 30 years in multiple bands.
Not that I'm the least bit surprised but Danny still shreds.

Facts, this band ironically is like a good wine that gets better with age.

Justin's work is intense too, the beginning of invincible gives me wood.

Justin has always and will always be incredible

He loves his bass so much, every night he bangs the fuck out of it.

I was getting into Tool when I was getting into bass, so naturally he became a huge influence and will always get my vote as one of the best bassists out there.

I can't believe they played that last night. Jimmy sounds fantastic...
