I can't believe that music news sites are actually running an offhand comment by Buzz Osbourne about a brief conversation he had with Adam Jones as "news".

For a start....he doesn't mention WHEN Adam said that to him. It might have been three years ago when they only had three or four "songs" and four hours of noodles to sift through.

Nothing unbelievable about Clickbait. At least most sites I've read have reported it in a way that suggests it shouldn't be taken to seriously, bit COS seem to be reading more into it than most.

"according to Osborne, who added that the music is obviously not radio friendly." - I don't remember that from the interview at all (though I assume they are referring to the track length).

i saved the Death Valley photo and viewed its details. No location was tagged with it.

It was however taken by an iPhone 5s on May 23, 2016 at 3:56 PM. So our newest June 2016 newsletter was about a story from May.

I'm not speculating what, if anything, will be revealed in the next newsletter, BUT, regarding that recent video of Danny being talked to by the paparazzi guy, I don't think he was kidding at all when he said they were looking into making a feature-length film....there's been mentions of it for years now, Justin said a few years ago they were engaged in 'the biggest project of their lives', there was that video with Maynard doing the live interview in front of an audience a year or 2 ago and the guy asked him if Tool would ever consider doing something similar to Pink Floyd's The Wall movie, and his response was 'yeah, if we could actually finish the album' (it was the same video where he says to the audience "do I seem like a lazy person? Then stop blaming me).....and not too long ago, someone posted those pics of signs out in the desert that just said 'Tool' and had directional arrows, and I think someone pointed out that the location these signs were in was a popular area for shooting movie scenes and music videos. So I really think it's going to happen.

Yeah i feel ya, i think Adam would love to do a Tool movie. And as youve said, there has been a few hints drop through the years that would lead us to believe they may be working on a movie. We know they are working on a Live DVD. So its unsure if a Tool movie and the Live DVD are referring to the same thing or not.

Either way. I think Tool is working on some interesting things OTHER than the album. I also think they would like to release the album in conjunction with a movie or dvd or some kind. Which may speed up/delay the whole process.

I can pretty much expect to see a Ravenpig post right after a Uke post. I was pleasantly surprised to see Specter make a special appearance in the place of him yesterday. I want to be a Ravenpig to Specter's Uke. It sounds dirty, and I meant it that way.
