I will say they're much better than their stupid name. And this is from someone who's favorite bands have names like:
"Tool" Nine Inch Nails" "The Doors"
None of those names are anywhere near as bad as Karnivool or Korn for that matter.
There are way worse names then "Tool" or "The Doors" out there. Even "Nine Inch Nails" is leagues above some of the terrible names out there.

Ok I see my mistake. Tool, NIN, The Doors are silly names, but I don't think they're bad, at all. Great names, but they are a bit silly. I don't mean that as an insult.
Karnivool on the other hand, is a stupid name. It makes me think its going to be awful music. It sounds like a name one of those terrible late 90's nu metal bands would pick.
I can see how my previous posts would confuse though.

I haven't mentioned it, but I haven't even looked at her, let alone talked to her, since Tuesday. I hit my breaking point with her, and I'm not sure if I can go back.

Boss I was like you for years, expecting Karnivool to be a Mr bungle wanna be band.. Finally got into em after Sound awake, they're a great band & have some cracking tunes so ya should give em a go. Saying that, the new albums pretty shit in my opinion.

The Karnivool album was better I thought. Good to see DLC getting a decent US tour with Periphery though (as well as fellow Aussies Twelve Foot Ninja).

The vool are 10 times better than this band, but I still enjoy the album, it's the vool lite.
I prefer to call them the vool for obvious reasons.
