I ate a nice size magic mushroom last night and was quite high.....I watched this 'new tool 2014 by burnt amber ' video and holy fuck....what beautiful audio/visual subjecting it was.....which got me watch the 'uncastle show'.....tool fuckin takes the cake by far...what they have going is truly amazing......by far.....divine sonic divinity..thats what I say...

Sure, here in this community of TOOL fans, and among music critics and music appreciators alike, they are considered musical Gods or geniuses, and that irritates the fuck out of you, i know, but TOOL is widely underrated, at least when it comes to the mainstream world. Even a large portion of people who claim to be fans of the band would put TOOL alongside bands like Slipknot or Avenged Sevenfold or some other actually overrated shitty band because they cannot tell the difference.

The masses simply cannot understand TOOL's music, or any other medium of deeply thought-provoking spiritual enlightenment (at this stage in human evolution, anyway).

for the most part... very accurate statement. they're appropriately rated amongst their peers and fans. underrated in the grand scheme of things--- i think their music will live on for generations after they're done much like floyd and zeppelin.
