Don't know exactly how old this story is (seems that it happened earlier today).
Apparently Tim got served with divorce papers late last year.
He wasn't too happy about this so he contacted a hit man.
That hit-man flipped to the authorities?? who then set up the sting.
ABC News reports Tim is on tape asking for her murder in exchange for money
This story reminds me of Randy Blythe of Lamb of God from a few months ago. Those charges were pretty bogus from the get go. I had a pretty good feeling that he was going to beat the rap.
According to ABC news, this seems pretty "open and shut case Johnson"
Will this be the end of one of my favorite bands? I know they are labeled as Christian, but I disagree with that. Christ can't rock near as hard as these dudes do.
Even though, I'll go ahead and say that MURDER FOR HIRE IS NOT A VERY 'CHRISTIAN' THING TO DO mmmmmkay.

wow! what a year in music I don't care about news: pedophelia (lost prophets), meth labs (six feet under), the lamb of god shit and this... thank christ fall out boy is saving rock 'n' roll... keep on keepin' on
I once pretended to like Fall Out Boy to get into this girl's knickers. It worked. Good.
We also listened to a lot of Fall Out Boy that night. Bad.

Obituary > Six Feet Under
My Chemical Romance were very technically proficient and made a couple of great albums, a modern day queen imo
They made some awesome film clips as well

^ Pretty sure that was directed at my Triumph meme... and hell yes is the answer. Â Triumph is even more relevant today than he was back in the early 2000's. Â Timeless poop humor.
bah, no matter or consequene being thatÂ
I SPEAK FOR ALL
Obituary are better than six feet under, but I don't care... the guy's a fucking loser regardless... also, MCR eat dick, but you can still defend them if you like

I wonder how much of a chance you ever gave them, but hating on something from the corner of ignorance never made much sense to me.
actually, I had to give them half a chance on principle as my wife's little brother was way into them when he started playing guitar and we were chatting about/trading music (he's 10+ years our junior)... actually even saw them live once... they were shit

^ Incorrect. Â MCR = EMO. Â Horrendous "music" with no redeeming value. Â Sheesh.
Once again you are coming from the corner of ignorance, what exactly is emo music because MCR are a rock band through and through.
EMO is a label, you want to call them "Rock" go for it, but they are still mediocre musicians at best. Â The singer is over the top with affected, overly emotional delivery. Â The lyrics are repetitive and trite.
Again, back up your claim of technical proficiency. Â I have seen no evidence of it.

Also using emo as a label is about as useless as using hipster as a label, “Hipster†is a term co-opted for use as a meaningless pejorative in order to vaguely call someone else’s authenticity into question and, by extension, claim authenticity for yourself.
It serves no conversational function and imparts no information, save for indicating the opinions and preferences of the speaker.
Meanwhile, a market myth has sprung up around the term, as well as a cultural bogeyman consisting of elusive white 20-somethings who wear certain clothes (but no one will agree on what), listen to certain music (no one can agree on this either), and act a certain way (you’ve probably sensed the pattern on your own).
You can’t define what “that kind of behavior or fashion or lifestyle†actually is, nor will you ever be able to. That’s because you don’t use “hipster†to describe an actual group of people, but to describe a fictional stereotype that is an outlet for literally anything that annoys you.
The twist, of course, is that if it weren’t for your own insecurities, nothing that a “hipster†could do or wear would ever affect you emotionally. But you are insecure about your own authenticity - “Do I wear what I wear because I want to? Do I listen to my music because I truly like it? I’m certainly not like those filthy hipsters!†- so you project those feelings.
Suffice it to say, no one self-identifies as a hipster; the term is always applied to an Other, to separate the authentic Us from the inauthentic, “ironic†Them.
