Looks bloody awesome.  I suspect the extra character pertains to the crew members it showed you being able to pic during mission planning.

You can customize your dog in Grand Theft Auto V

Famitsu checked out Grand Theft Auto V recently and the big news from their coverage is that you can customize your dog. The dog's name is Chop, and you can give him different color collars, other accessories, and more. There's also the danger of losing Chop, so you're going to have to keep an eye over him.

Other bits of info from Famitsu include how each of the three main characters have a unique walk animation, there will be at least one underwater mission, and that there are 15 types of wild animals that can be found in the game. As for release, Japan will get GTA V on October 10, 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Hopefully managing Chop won't be too much of a chore. If anything, I'd like it to be like the horse system in Red Dead Redemption. Whoops you just shot your horse in the face by accident? Whistle for a new one!

I do. But only if I can file for tax exempt status and have the IRS visit my crib to harass me..

Apparently this is fake, so disregard.  That said It would come as no surprise if 80% of that were true.

That would be nice. Load in your own tunes, and let them click in, as the radio decides.

I like that idea.

You could have your own music on the PC.  Might have been the best feature.

You could do it with San Andreas on Xbox as well.

You can play yourt own music on the Xbox and PC version anyway, but it's not as good as using the radio.  What would be nice is if you could take tracks from your collection, flag them as being for a particular radio station and then have the game seamlessly integrate them into the game.

Some more details that have emerged:

·         You no longer gather ammo just by passing over it. Now you have to press a button.

·         KWKR is the first confirmed radio.

·          A HEALTH remix of a The xx song was played in said station.

·         Crews can schedule their missions though Rockstar Social Club.

·         Week days return and will affect gameplay.

·         Each radio will comment on the aftermath of the missions, like SA and VCS.

·         You can place a bike in the Bobcat.

·         It's impossible to shoot friends.

·         Line of sight system works as perfectly as a stealth game.

And the surf rock band Wavves has hinted that they'll be in the game.

Anyone get the feeling that there's no way that this is going to be as good as it looks?

Not really. Rockstar having a very impressive hit rate, and I'm not seeing anything that suggests this won't also be excellent
