Isn't Mac from Always Sunny the director of that? Or am I thinking of another movie?

The director is Duncan Jones, David Bowie's son. Mac is directing the Minecraft movie.

Agreed. Same with comic book movies. Most of them suck. Fucking sick of Batman and Superman and Thor and The Avengers and all that bullshit. So glad we got The Martian this year. Oh and of course Mad Max Fury Road. It is nice to see good sci fi make it to the big screen once in awhile. We need more movies like Interstellar, Inception, Children of Men, District 9, Gravity, Edge of Tomorrow (fuck Tom Cruise but that is one helluva good movie) etc etc....fuck even Prometheus with some of it's failings was a hundred times better than the fucking Avengers.

Oh shit how could I leave that garbage out. There are so many of em it is hard to keep up. Who else am I missing? Antman? Green Lantern? Christ I can't keep up with all of em.

The one exception for me was Guardians of the Galaxy. I actually enjoyed that one. I thought the writing was really good and it was well acted. It didn't take itself too seriously.

Oh and of course Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was remarkable. Best acting in a comic book movie by a very very large margin.

speaking of superheros I just binge watched Daredevil on Netflix in four sittings and I don't even watch shows. it was incredible. 10/10 everything. acting, music, editing, story line, fight scenes. amazing show, I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality production.

Well, that Warcraft trailer lived up to my expectations. Couldn't even get through that 3 minutes without getting bored of it.

It looked like a cross between the Lord Of The Rings and an expensive cgi advertisement for children's cereal.
