RIP Roky Erickson
The Godfather of Psychedelic Rock
Without him, Tool would not be the band we know it to be. Their prog elements are knowingly profound, but the psychedelic elements are equally prominent, and so uniquely implemented. So let's raise our caps or yoga mats or whatever you use to attain that blissful state of mind to a Master.

RIP Bushwick Bill of Geto Boys
A lot of you will recognize him from Billy Hilly's avatar
Here's the story of that what happened before that picture was taken for cover of We Can't Be Stopped

Lost one of my best friends today. Really gutted. He was just on a short vacation, out on the street after dinner and dropped with multiple aneurysms and a heart attack. Still can't fully process it. We were so stoked to be seeing Tool live together again. He was loving the new album, and I'm really glad he was able to hear it. What a shit day.

So sorry to hear that Kittaan. Losing close friends is really tough and quite unfathomable emotionally when it happens suddenly like that. xKittaan wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:18 pm Lost one of my best friends today. Hard to hear. He seemed to really like all the time he was getting to spend with his 13 year old daughter and coaching her basketball team and all the time he’d gotten with his family in general.

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Yeah, bummer for sure. I never got to see Mazzy Star, but I did get to see Hope Sandoval and The Warm Inventions. Similarly mellow, but no Roback.ziggy23 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 12:34 pmFuck...nxrm wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 6:17 pm David Roback, Mazzy Star co-founder, dies aged 61
