I do like collecting the Tool posters, but only the concert posters that I attend to. There is no reason I would buy a Tool concert poster that I didn't attend. These are dated to to the shows I've seen and they ae special to me. Hellboy, would you like to see how special i have framed my posters?

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I've purchased posters from other shows (as in shows I did NOT attend) if I think the ARTWORK is really cool / special etc.
For example, I didn't attend the PITTSBURG or NEW ORLEANS shows back in 2019 and 2020 but I was still able to purchase the posters via eBay or someone else I knew. But why? Because as soon as I saw some of the artwork on some of the posters I went "Holy shit! That really resonates with me for some reason... but why?"
That's why I think ART is cool. I come from a Maths / Science / nerdy background (not much creativity) BUT I'll listen to something and / or see something that's really cool, unique, special etc. and go "I must have that!" or "I must listen to that again!" etc.
Without sounding pretentious or arrogant or anything, maybe for me as a 'non-artist' is the fascination as to WHY and HOW artists come up with their material in the first place.
As for bands for me though this includes, but is not limited to, TOOL, METALLICA, QOTSA, PINK FLOYD and LED ZEPPELIN. Throw in JACK WHITE (anything) and the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS plus a few female vocalists and I am set.
E.g. Sometimes I'll listen to a Pink Floyd song and go "How did they think of coming up with THAT idea of playing that part that way so as to create that vibe or tone?" and "Why did I think of ____ when I heard that part?" and I have no musical background whatsoever... and four hours later am I still thinking about it or have moved onto a similar thought, question, dilemma etc.
I think that's pretty cool.
Then you see a band or solo artists perform LIVE in concert and it takes it to another level... I was fortunate enough to see CHRIS CORNELL in 2007 and 2011; that guy was exceptional! ✔

You obviously appreciate it and can dig into things your not entirely inclined in kinda but at the same time its speaking to you, so i wouldnt say your not without something. Like, some Tool fans being conservative right wingers, for instance?
