What are you PLAYING?
Re: What are you PLAYING??
How do you spot a vegetarian at a party?
Don't worry, they'll let you know.

Actually, I do give a couple of fucks about soccer. I've been playing New Star Soccer of late, which is a cool game.

Re: What are you PLAYING??
I finally decided to use a mod that "boosts" colour in SKYRIM.
Holy fucking suck my mother's tits, it's like a completely different game. It's even more stunning.

Any chance of me being able to run that on my Windows 7 laptop? Weird question, I know, but every time I go to buy it on Steam it says I'll have issues.UndKeineZwEier wrote:I've been playing Fallout 3 and holy fuck do I hate radscorpions.

Re: What are you PLAYING??
It'll run just fine on WIndows 7. It all depends on the hardware your laptops has - many have a second rate graphics card which is the usual bottleneck. The Boss wrote:Any chance of me being able to run that on my Windows 7 laptop? I've thrashed "NEW VEGAS" several times on this poor girl, and run "SKYRIM" on ultra. I'm sure it's OK.hellboy wrote:It'll run just fine on WIndows 7. My point was that the Steam store says I'll need to do something weird in order to be able to play the game in the first place. I'm literally too lazy to find out the details, and it's part of the reason why I'm asking you bros in the first place.
O love will you read the letters I will send to you.
Re: What are you PLAYING??
I think you'll be right. I don't remember having to do anything weird to get Fallout 3 to work.

Ah:
Notice: Fallout 3 is not optimized for Windows 7
I don't even know what that means. I'm seriously that dumb when it comes to computers.

Re: What are you PLAYING??
Neither do I. I'm pretty sure I played it on Windows 7 and don't remember having any issues. I wouldn't worry about it - if New Vegas and Skyrim were fine then this will be too.The Boss wrote:Ah:

Unfortunately, it's fucking twenty dollars, so all this has been for naught. :/

Fallout 3 is on sale pretty frequently these days. Just wait for the next Steam sale.

Re: What are you PLAYING??
There's an issue with quadcore processors that can cause the game to crash frequently, but it's a pretty easy fix.

Re: What are you PLAYING??
I've never understood that: Better processors will make old games either suck or not work. I get that it's a matter of architecture, but still . . .UndKeineZwEier wrote:There's an issue with quadcore processors that can cause the game to crash frequently, but it's a pretty easy fix.

Re: What are you PLAYING??
So, remember how I got that ps3 that "doesn't play games/dvds/etc?
It actually does work! I got soooo freaking lucky.
I'm currently playing Red Dead Redemption and Deadpool. Both are ridiculously fun.

More like 15 months ago.

Ok, so I'm a TAD late to the party on this game, but the "game of the year" edition of Red Dead Redemption is the "final" version of it correct? I only made up my mind to buy it (I rarely, and I mean RARELY get games) a few months ago but I figured I'd wait til its last version. So, yea no?

Re: What are YOU playing?
I did but my brother's ps3 crapped out and I stopped like halfway thru. Giving it another go now.
And did you just seriously go back 15 months to find a post of mine? Sta-LK-er!

Re: What are YOU playing?
I didn't want to wait to hear your answer. It's not a big deal. I mean all I did was invent time travel and then went back one day at a time until I reached the day that you posted that, then I quoted it and brought it back to the future. Easy as pie.

Re: What are YOU playing?
"SKYRIM".
Not sure if I've already mentioned it, but I grabbed a little add-on in the Workshop the other day. It pumps up the colours so everything doesn't look so washed-out and dull.
I tell ya what, it's like playing a brand new game. I'm seeing things that I've never seen before.
I've also completely eliminated the use of fast-travel. Under no circumstances can it ever be used. That's also changed the game. Now, I leave every single question marker on and just do what is in my surrounding area. Once that's done or I get bored, I stride off into the distance to seek further adventure.
It's unbelievable how much life you can get from this game. As long as you have an at least six month break between characters, I'd argue that you could play it forever.
