That question seems to get raised whenever some uploads a bunch of stuff to Youtube. The answer is almost certainly no - it's just someone with access to the Tool Drive and plenty of time on their hands.BlackHole83 wrote:I may have asked this question before but does anyone know if this "ToolArchive" character on YouTube is affiliated with the band in anyway or a member of our beloved FE?
Either way, he does post some of the best TOOL bootlegs out there
I made a DVD out of that entire show a couple years ago. It was like it was mounted on a tripod or something---so steady. Elevated. Centered. It's probably the best bootleg out there. I was able to see the St. Paul show in person only a few days after that show... Maynard sounded better than any show of the 8 I've seen in the last 10 years. That "does anybody have a time-machine" bit he does before Intolerance is one of my favorite Maynardisms.BlackHole83 wrote:I may have asked this question before but does anyone know if this "ToolArchive" character on YouTube is affiliated with the band in anyway or a member of our beloved FE?

Particularly the latest vid TOOL live St Charles in HD. Holy fuck balls that video gave me the chilly willys. I would have posted the vid but I am not computer savvy by any means. Cheers
It'd be nice if they actually released what they were working with him on originally. I'm not sure anything Tool & Santoro have done together has come to light.fortysixand2 wrote:Working with Matthew Santoro again?

Who is this kitty girl? I will cut a bitch!
You are not wrong sir. It's a great alternative to those who have been unable to see them live. I showed it to my 18 yo nephew and he was lost for words. Nothing beats seeing them live, but def one of the best recordings.Insert wrote:That St Charles performance of Third Eye is the best Tool performance I've ever seen recorded
They could be working on something (I feel like he was probably involved with The Pot), but I believe they're just personal friends as well.fortysixand2 wrote:Working with Matthew Santoro again?
