Anyway, I doubt they will tour Adelaide, since apparently they're asking $3 million a show, and I'd be quite unlikely to travel to see them.

Yep. Civil War would have to be my fav Gunners song & there's plenty of other great tunes to be found on both on the 2 to make one hell of a cracking album.. Axel penned some pretty decent lyrics down on some of the tunes too which never seems to get mentioned.N.Y.H.C. wrote:truth.hellboy wrote:Use Your Illusion is definitely bloated, but take the best from each and you have a pretty kick ass album.

Lots of interesting shit coming up on PledgeMusic.com... I have supported several projects recently and I'm liking the approach of crowd funding with decent prices and ongoing project updates. This gets the resources more directly into the hands of the artists and will hopefully generate more good music.
I have not yet checked this out, but plan to. I know several here would be interested in some of the artists mentioned:

Seven years ago, we were first introduced to Sweethead, an all-star hard rock collective in orbit around the fine talents of vocalist Serrina Sims and guitarist Troy van Leuwen (Queens of the Stone Age/Failure). In 2016, the pair are returning with ‘Descent to the Surface,’ a new album that, of course, features another impressive guest list—including Jon Theodore ( QOTSA , Mars Volta), Dean Fertita ( QOTSA , Dead Weather), Alain Johannes (Eleven, Them Crooked Vultures), Tony Hajar (At The Drive In) and many more! Don’t miss this brand new PledgeMusic campaign with new album pre-orders, signed instruments, custom gear and limited-edition original merch from the band’s first album!

I gotta say, the idea of Iggy & Homme is much better than the end result.

I like it, but it's a little slight. A big freak out near the end or at least a ramp up in intensity would've really helped.

Official album teaser for BORIS and MERZBOW's new collaboration spanning over over 150 minutes. The two sets are intended to be played at the same time at varying volumes so that the listener can experience their own "gensho/phenomenon" every time.

Nickelback says their new album won't be as good as Kanye West's, so you can put that worry to rest.

I wonder if the drugs are included in the price?
https://www.adventuresinwonderland.com/t/ministryMINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen has partnered with Adventures In Wonderland to debut Ministry Bootcamp, a behind-the-scenes look of what it takes to put a show like MINISTRY on the road.
Three hundred fans will have an opportunity to view and participate in open rehearsals at the Freemont Country Club in downtown Las Vegas, all ending in a full-blown MINISTRY show open to the public, with special seating for Bootcamp guests. There will be meet-and -greets, clinics, question-and-answer sessions, dinner and billiards with Al, as well as opportunities for Bootcampers to jam with the band and even play during the live show.
Al Jourgensen is known for innovation and going where music hasn't gone before. He does it again by breaking through the boundaries of the Internet and giving fans an up-close-and-personal, all-access pass to rehearsals before MINISTRY heads to Europe this summer.
Re: Random Music News
VIP tickets for the GnR reunions shows are $2500 a piece, and you don't even get to meet the band. Makes $500 seem like a steal!
Re: Random Music News
Better seats (though they're not front row or anything), I think some food before the show and a photo of you on stage.Ravenpig wrote:Wait, so that are they paying $2500 for?

90% of MetalSucks reviews are "I'm not generally a fan of this band but this album is great," also fuck video reviews.
